If y'alls weather is like ours, it's ambush hunting, brother. They're not hot yet, and calling to 'em just won't cutting the mustard. But, we did manage to find a couple of dumb ones, to wit: Good luck to all my KY turkey hunting friends.

Took bird # 2 Sunday at 11am in a down pour, saw him at 1/4 mile struttin with 2 hens with 10 power binos, all out in the open, dropped back, called and he comitted, once out of site crawed up about 50 yards and waited, 45 min later his head pops up and after watching him slowly come in got a 15yards shot with the ole 20ga. He is estimated to be a 5 year old bird, 29 .45 pounds, 10 1/2 beard with it broken off from dragging the ground, cole black spurs, over an inch!! I got some pics of both birds that I will post, Sunday's pics are not as good as everything was wet but you can see how big he is
What a blessed weekend!
