Default ASAT Camo

Any of you ever use ASAT Camo? I have read some really good stuff about it. It looks like cheap rags but its not about how we see it, its about the critters. They make a good point... Rabbit, deer, elk etc. are brown not green. I think I would like to try some this year. I am due for new camo. Maybe I will write a review for the site on its effectiveness.

Its funny.. When I first saw it I thought... yuck! dont look good.... Then I realized I was trapped by the camo fashion police. My wife laughed at me and said "you can wear your Mossy Oak or Realtree in town and when you drive to the farm and then change into the ASAT stuff when you get ready to go in the woods"... lol

Smart woman that wife of yours Pooge.

I have often wondered why folks wear green camo when there are no green leaves on the ground or in the trees ? I always try to match my clothes to the surroundings. 9 out of 10 times my clothes don't say Realtree or Mossy Oak on them.

Hunting out west I almost never wear camo. I try to pack barren ground colors for shirts and tan or grey jeans. It is funny cause 99% of the guys who show up to hunt are wearing green camo.

I am not fimiliar with the clothes that you are talking about. Do they have a website so I can look at them ?

Take a look at the test photos. Also, there are alot of reviews on it by bow hunters. One in particular at:

I like ASAT alot. I also think alot of Predator camo. I've got a green Predator shirt I wear in the early season and it really does make you disapear. Had a friend stillhunt by me about 40 yards one fall while bowhuntin, He said when he finally saw me, it was my Mossy Oak pants he saw first. Said it looked like a pair of pants standin there till he saw me move and saw my Predator camo.

I hate all that "designer" TV camo.

I like ASAT so much I became a dealer. I recommend buying the 3D Vanish Pro Leafy suit. Wear anything you want under it to handle the weather and you'll be as well camouflaged as you can be barring a ghillie suit. The 3D Vanish Pro is almost as good as a ghillie suit but much, much lighter and much easier to pack and tote along in your day pack. I've hunted in 120 degree Californian deer season and -10 Michigan Winter with equal success. I just dressed appropriately under. Also if you think you have to have a camo with white in it for Winter there is now a 3D Vanish Pro Snow available. I personally have seen the regular one work just fine in snow. But if you felt you had to have one of each you'd spend 280 bucks and all you camo needs for the rest of your life would be met. Buy your normal size as they run slightly large for layering and neccasary bagginess. I'm not trying to promote my own business I just like the camo so much I promote it.
