I do not know anything about this topic. I just support the Elk as I have since being in the RMEF.

I do know that in Colorado there is a point system in place for certain seasons/areas. I also know that it takes 9 to 15 points to draw a hunt in these areas. I for one would never put in for a hunt like this. The odds of being drawn are way against you. It's just easier to buy over the counter for me.

I am a meat hunter, NOT a horn hunter. Maybe that is why it doesn't matter to me ?
